What is the best way to learn how to sign?

I'm considering abut buying 'Singing for Dummies'... Do you guys think that book might help me learn how to vibrate, and etc?? I am pretty sure that vocal coaches will help me the most, but I am a teenager and cannot afford to learn under them....
