Do some people fail to realize that the WWE Championship was originally a SmackDown title? + WQ?

i'm still trying to figure out why WWE has so many titles, and the ones they had before they killed WCW, they ruined them. I don't see the point in titles anymore if WWE is not going to make them meaningful again.
