Does KFC have a new fish sandwich and have they applied to the Vatican for an official blessing?

I picked up on a rumor this morning that KFC had introduced a fish sandwich to their menu and they had applied to the Vatican for an official “seal of approval.” If it is true then surely the Vatican won’t respond or else we will have the official soft drink of NASCAR right along side of the official fish sandwich of Catholicism.
